Bowen Education in partnership with Manchester City Council are happy to invite all pupils aged 5 to 11, especially who are eligible for Free School Meals to participate in a FREE holiday camp with Free lunch during Easter holiday.
Besides providing a safe and fun environment for children, an other main focus of this camp is to educate children to understand the importance of healthy eating and lifestyle, also how a nutritious meal can impact their life, and experiencing the culture of different countries.
11/04 Monday is Camp Opening Day!
All children ages 5-11, with or without free school meal benefit. All are welcome to come for FREE, Event including activities and free lunch.
With an array of activities your children can stay active in a fun, safe environment. The Activities they will have:
Dance: Zumba, Jazz, Chinese Dance, Street Dance
Sports: Football, Badminton, Table Tennis, Martial Art
Indoor Activities: Crafts, Board Games, Painting, Chinese Calligraphy
This camp is being run as part of the government's Holiday Activities and Food scheme. Children are provided with a free nutritious lunch which includes a meal, fruits and drinks every day. Free places are for children who receive benefits related free school meals. For children who are not entitle to free school meal, they are also more than welcome to join us with a fee of £18/day for the camp. The fee includes all activities fee and a nutritious lunch (meal, snack and drink).

Entitlement checks:
The council is obliged to confirm that you are eligible to claim free school meals in order for your to access a free place, and will do so by checking the data held on your housing benefit and/or council tax reduction claim and/or against the data held by the DWP and HMRC, via the Department for Education eligibility checking service, to verify that you are entitled to claim free school meals. (Check here if you are qualified for the free meal benefit )
