Event Description
Join us for a FREE, hands-on outdoor workshop where you’ll learn how to build a brash fence—an inexpensive, sustainable way to create secure boundaries while giving new life to your garden waste.
A brash fence is made using cut-down branches, sticks, and other garden materials. Not only does it provide a low-cost and eco-friendly alternative to conventional fencing, but it also creates valuable habitat for birds, insects, and other wildlife.
In this interactive workshop, you’ll discover:
- How to knock in stakes and weave brash to form a sturdy fence
- How brash fences support biodiversity and attract wildlife
- The benefits of reusing garden cuttings for low-impact landscaping
This is a practical, outdoor event—so please come prepared with warm, sensible clothing and sturdy footwear.
