We are delighted to welcome Jeremy Thomas to join us to discuss this key issue for all employers. Jeremy is well known for presenting engaging sessions on How to Stay Sane in an Insane World to students throughout the UK. Jeremy co-produced the Emmy award winning documentary Stephen Fry, the Secret Life of a Manic Depressive and is the co-author of You Don’t Have to Be Famous to Have Manic Depression – An A-Z Guide to Good Mental Health. Jeremy will draw on his personal experiences to deliver a bespoke presentation on mental health in the workplace.
Paul McGowan (Partner) from Collingwood Legal will discuss the legal landscape for employers including tips to help protect your business, improve employee attendance and wellbeing and to deal with mental health issues with confidence and sensitivity.
The event will take place on 02 November 2016 at Newcastle Falcons Rugby Ground, Kingston Park, Brunton Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE13 8AF. 8am arrival breakfast and networking for an 8:30am start. The event will conclude at approximately 10am. There is free on-site parking for delegates on a first come, first served basis.
