About this event

The Joker Entertainment have delighted audiences in Daventry many times and this time it's your turn to have a staring role in the circus act! Join expert tutors who will demonstrate, encourage and guide children aged 5-13 years through an array of circus and balance skill activities. Set in New Street Park, in the centre of Daventry town, these FREE workshops will be a huge amount of fun!

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻: Tuesday 2 August, Wednesday 17 August and Thursday 25 August. You can book one or more session and there will also be a drop-in session each afternoon.

𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲: 10.30am-12.30pm each day (Duration 2 hours).

There will also be a drop-in session from 12.30pm-2.30pm when booking is not necessary.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲: New Street Park, Daventry Town Centre, NN11 4BS

𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆: This is a FREE workshop for children aged 5 to 13 years and for the morning sessions you must book a place for each child attending. Parents and carers must stay for the whole session.

It is not necessary to book a place for the drop-in sessions from 12.30pm-2.30pm each afternoon.

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: Free parking is available throughout the town centre. Please check individual parking notices for the restriction information in each car park.

Learn a range of circus and balance skills, from juggling to plate spinning, stilts and unicycling with expert tutors on hand to encourage and keep you safe.

All equipment provided.

No experience, red noses or large clown shoes necessary!

If you can't commit to two hours of circus fun, why not pop along to the drop-in session from 12.30pm-2.30pm each afternoon after the bookable session. Or, if you haven't had enough spinning of plates whilst unicycling, then pop back after your morning session - places subject to availability.

Important Details:

These are free sessions, but please book a place for each child wishing to participate on each day. Parents and carers must stay nearby with their children throughout the sessions, there may even be the opportunity to join in!

Please wear sensible clothes and flat footwear.

The afternoon sessions at 12.30pm-2.30pm are not bookable, they are drop-in sessions and places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, priority will first be given to those who have not attended a bookable session.
