Free CPD Event: Matters of the Heart in Primary Care

Network Locum is pleased to announce its first CPD event in Coventry, to be held at the BMI Meriden Hospital, which will carry 3 CPD points.
Led by Dr Aman Arora, this event focusses on the heart in primary care. Delivered in association with our partner BMI The Meriden Hospital, this event promises to be an interesting and informative evening for all GPs. Kicking off with complementary food and drinks and a chance to network with speakers and fellow GPs, we look forward to welcoming you on the night.
Dr Faizel Osman:
Dr Faizel Osman is Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at The University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire and The BMI Meriden Hospital, Coventry. He is head of Cardiac Arrhythmia Management at UHCW, a service that he started in 2008. Dr Osman has extensive experience in cardiac device implants and cardiac electrophysiology and ablation. He holds specialist accreditations from several organisations including Heart Rhythm UK, International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (US) and the European Heart Rhythm Association. He regularly speaks at courses for cardiologists in training.
Dr Ritesh Dua:
Working as a GP in rural Herefordshire since 2009, Dr. Dua is also a GP trainer & GPSI in Cardiology, doing regular Echo sessions & cardiology clinics at Hereford County Hospital. He led the 'Stroke Prevention in AF' programme across Herefordshire which was selected as an innovative case study to be included in ‘Healthcare Pioneers, Showcasing Best Practice in AF’ by the All Party Parliamentary Group on AF.
The programme for the evening is as follows:

7:00pm: Dr Faizel Osman: 'Update in Cardiac Arrhythmia Management' A case-based review.
8:15pm: Dr Ritesh Dua: 'Heart Failure and Valvular Heart Disease'.
