Event description

Description

The threat is not just technology: minimising risks to company systems, operations and continuity

In conjunction with the Cyber Readiness Institute (CRI) global security programme for businesses in Washington D.C., the University of Kent will deliver this practical hands-on workshop to support businesses in addressing business culture, behaviour and technology to protect themselves against cyber threats.

This workshop will include practical help, resources for businesses and brief talks from the Cyber Readiness Institute’s Managing Director, Kiersten Todt and the University of Kent’s Professor Shujun Li, Director of the Kent Interdisciplinary Research Centre in Cyber Security (KirCCS).

The CRI includes leading companies such as Microsoft, Acer, Maersk, MasterCard and Exxon Mobil who want to ensure their supply chains and networks are fully prepared for any future cyber threat that has the potential to affect their business, their clients and their clients’ businesses.

Places are strictly limited on this free workshop – please book your place as soon as possible!

The evening will start with refreshments and networking at the Gulbenkian Cafe followed by the workshop in Cornwallis Video Conference Studio SE109 which will begin at 6.30 sharp.
