FREE CYCLE SKILLS TASTER SESSION FOR SCHOOL YEARS 2-5
TORBAY VELOPARK OPEN DAY - SATURDAY 13 SEPTEMBER. 12.30 to 1.30 PM
Cycle Torbay CIC and Torbay Council National Standards Cycling Instructors will be at Torbay Velopark for the Open Day to deliver a 1-hour cycle skills taster session to children in School Years 2 to 5, to give them an idea of what to expect when they sign up to Bikeability at their school this year.
The session will take place on the Training Apron of the Velopark and the emphasis is on teaching cycle-handling in a fun session using games which help to build their confidence.
To take part in the training, your child needs to be able to ride a cycle without stabilizers and must have a helmet and a cycle in good working order with both front and back brakes.
