Event description

Description

In what manner will you meet life? Will you live up to other's expectations? Or down? Will you act for yourself or for the common good? Will you set the course of your life or be blown around by circumstance?

Let Albus Rowling's life and work guide you. A pleasant 2 ish hour chat and stroll experiencing more of JK Rowling's 'dauntingly beautiful' home.

Chart the development of the book series across the city. Learn and be inspired by the most influential author of our time.

It's a reduced version of this tour which I give at the weekend. Given the cost the folk have been very kind with their reviews; I'd kiss them all, if they all wanted Dragon Pox.

  • The Balmoral Hotel
  • The Tron

  • The Elephant House

If the group is all adults, or you email me for a private tour, we can include a detour to a pub for ButterBeer. Or take a five minute cab / bus ride at the end. Make your day epic.

We meet by the statue of Wellington opposite the Balmoral Hotel.

Free but tips are welcome from those who both can afford it and enjoy it.

10% of all profits given to Edinburgh's social inclusion One City Trust, of which JK Rowling is an ambassador. But you don't have to tip anything.

Blurb inspired by JK Rowling's reflections. It's more interesting that way.

If you just wish to have a Quidditch session, or perhaps have a drink in Rowling's cafes, and enjoy a Butterbeer, then please contact me for a private tour, focused on your interest.
