About this event

As part of our Word and Image series to celebrate Helen Oxenbury: Illustrating the Land of Childhood, we are offering Summer Family Workshops.

Make your own concertina book to tell your own story of your summer adventures. This will include the chance to look at objects from our own collections created by artists and children who lived in Hampstead.

This workshop is a fun activity for children over the age of 7. Children will each make a concertina style book with decorative covers. Once they have made the book, they can then choose to fill it with their own pictures or stories before leaving with their very own book and the instructions and knowledge of how to do it again at home.

Max 10 children, must be accompanied by Parent.

Ticket is for one parent and one child, additional children, please add-on. Free worshop, but booking is necessary. Tickets are free at point of booking but we request that those that can make a donation to do so to enable us to continue programming free family workshops accessible to all. If you are no longer able to attend, please do inform us so we can make sure your ticket is used.

Ticket price includes materials.

These workshops were kindly part-funded by a Family Friendly Grant from Museum Development London.
