Free From Harm is an online training course specifically designed for midwives, ObGyns, and other maternity healthcare professionals, focusing on the critical issue of Obstetric Violence. This training equips participants with essential knowledge and tools to safeguard their rights and those of the individuals they support during childbirth. This intensive course delves into strategies for fostering a safe, respectful, and empathetic environment in maternity care.

Course duration & format: Two four-hour sessions which are highly interactive. All participants must have their own computer and microphone. The course is delivered via MS Teams. Participants will need to read our Free From Harm ebook before the session and complete post-course work which will take 1-2 hours in order to receive accreditation from WRA UK.

NOTE: You must book both Part 1 and Part 2 sessions to complete the Free From Harm course. The sessions are booked separately. You must do them in order.

Why do I have to book the two sessions separately?

This is to enable flexibility for participants in scheduling. Attendees will not be guaranteed to be in the class with the same audience for each part and the trainer may be different, but the curriculum is the same.
