Is the Henna application really free?

Yes! When you buy a Lush Henna Brick in-store, the application is on us. However, spaces are limited, so please only book if you’re certain you can attend. If your plans change, let us know so someone else can take your place.

How long does it take?

Consultation and application take around 45 minutes - 2 hours. We recommend leaving the henna on for a few hours at home for best results. *Be mindful that due to different hair types/thickness application timings can vary.

Do I need a strand test?

We strongly recommend it – and we’re happy to guide you through how to do one at home first. Pop in-store to find out how.

Question 4

Will you wash out the henna for me after application?

Accepted Answer

No, we are only applying the henna. You will need to wash it out at home after a few hours, once the colour has developed. We’ll explain how to do this during your visit.

Question 5

How long do I need to leave the henna in my hair?

Accepted Answer

We recommend leaving it in for at least 3–4 hours for best results. Some people leave it in longer depending on their hair type and desired colour.

Can I choose my henna shade?

Absolutely! Our team will guide you through the available Lush henna blocks (Brun, Marron, Rouge, Noir) and help you pick the right one for your hair goals.
