Learn to fish with our team of professionally qualified angling coaches. All the bait and equipment is provided, so all you need to do is book in and turn up on the day.

Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These one-hour sessions are designed for adults and for children from six years old upwards who are interested in trying out a potential new hobby.

Covid-19 Guidelines

If you have Covid-19 symptoms, please do not attend.

Walk ins will not be accepted. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another budding angler a chance to take part. Social distancing measures will be in place and all equipment will be cleaned in between sessions. Please see latest Government guidelines here.

The Canal & River Trust’s Let’s Fish! campaign is free to attend as part of our work as a waterways and wellbeing charity to help everyone get out, get active and make their lives better by water by learning to fish. National Celebration young people and fishing

Each year, we organise the National Celebration of young people and fishing which takes place at 2 venues in rural locations in the Midlands. These are fabulous fun events and we would hope that you would like to take part in the events in 2022 and perhaps even represent your country in the commonwealth Games events we are organising.
