We're pleased to be hosting a free Lunch-N-Learn event in Calgary, Alberta (venue TBC) on Wednesday, November 15th, 2017. At this event, we will introduce our simple package for compliance with the NECB2011 Canadian building standard using existing navigators. Included is a detailed Supporting Guidance document taking you intuitively through all the steps required to adapt our existing navigators to demonstrate compliance with the NECB standard, as well as a Model template, complete with the necessary NECB data for your use. Compliance couldn’t be easier!

Plus, we'll demonstrate our HVAC Loads Analysis & Sizing tools available in IESVE. Our HVAC sizing tools uses ASHRAE-prescribed methods to generate accurate HVAC Loads for building, plant, system, zone and room; while simultaneously integrating two-way integration with today's BIM platforms

What will the session cover?

This session will provide an overview of the VE and specific applications that will enhance your energy modeling experience and results.

12:45 - 1:15pm: Modeling for National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB) using IESVE
1:15pm - 2pm: HVAC Loads Analysis & Sizing using IESVE

About the NECB2011 Standard

The National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings 2011 (NECB) provides minimum requirements for the design and construction of energy-efficient buildings and covers the building envelope, systems and equipment for heating, ventilating and air-conditioning, service water heating, lighting, and the provision of electrical power systems and motors. It applies to new buildings and additions.

Loads Anaylsis & Sizing tools in IESVE
