What about confidentiality?

As part of the group agreement, anything said in the group will remain confidential and go no further. The only exception will be if the group facillitator feels there is a serious and imminent risk to a persons safety. If this is the case then this will always be discussed with the person concerned

Will there be refreshments?

There is a kitchen in the building. Tea, coffee, squash, water and biscuits  will be available.

Will records or notes be kept?

The only information required is basic contact information such as name and phone number and/or email.

What if I arrive a bit late or want to leave early?

Accepted Answer

It's helpful for people to be punctual but if you can't make it on time or you want to leave early then that's fine.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Accepted Answer

A pen and notebook are handy if want to make notes but that's up to you. A copy of any presentations can be emailed out if required. Sometimes there will be paper handouts available to take away.

Question 6

Can I attend if I've been taking alcohol or drugs?

Accepted Answer

If you need to take prescription medication then please continue to take it as directed. Anyone attending, obviously under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be asked to leave.

How much will it cost?

Nothing. Attending the group is free of charge. If you wish to make a donation then this can be done with cash or card.
