A weekly talking circle for Men at Academy HQ, Stalybridge. This circle provides a safe and supportive place for men to get support, friendship, open up and enjoy each other’s company in a positive environment.
Each week there will be a different topic or activity, alongside guest speakers and practitioners/therapists who can provide a variety of enjoyable sessions that will support our communities well being and provide tools, coping strategies and ideas for them to manage and/or maintain their mental health and support them throughout life.
For each session we will also provide some refreshments alongside handouts and materials that will be focused on the topic of the week.

The majority of our events are offered free of charge, sustained solely through the generosity of fundraising, grants, and the kindness of donations.
We orchestrate a variety of initiatives, ranging from regular Walk & Talk Events, Men's Minds Matters Social Group, and engaging Mindset Workshops, with a plethora of other events and adventures in the pipeline. Our inclusivity shines through in events tailored for men, women, mixed groups, and families – a reflection of our ongoing commitment to meet the diverse needs of our community. We're always open to your suggestions and ideas, eager to evolve alongside your input.
Ensuring the safety and success of our organisation, we have implemented comprehensive policies and procedures, conduct DBS checks, and uphold rigorous safeguarding practices. All pertinent information on these measures can be readily provided upon request.
