Join us for a free online morning wellbeing yoga session with Stephanie of Holistic Life.
This session is available for free to help those who have been experiencing poor mental health during the pandemic and are looking to improve their wellbeing.
This session is ideal for beginners and those already enjoying yoga for mindful relaxation.
Stephanie will show you some simple floor practices to help ground and reconnect with your body. A calming, quietening practice that can also be used to prepare for sleep.
These practices are also great for lower back and hip problems, and reducing tension in your upper back and shoulders.
During this day, SECE Mind will be joining forces with organisations across England and Wales to take part in ‘Mindful Monday’, as part of the Great British Week of Sport in partnership with ukactive. Together we are using the power of physical activity to help tackle mental health problems.There is good evidence to suggest that, as well as improving physical health, regular exercise can boost your mood, help beat stress and even reduce risk of depression.
