Life can be as changeable and unpredictable as our British weather. Yet sometimes we find ourselves unprepared for life's storms and are left feeling helpless and hopeless in the face of them.

The gold standard, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme can help us build the resilience we need to navigate the changes we face. Worldwide research has shown that not only can following an 8 week MBSR programme help us develop the skills we need to lead happier, more fulfilling lives and relationships, it can also reduce our stress and anxiety levels, lower blood pressure, increase our immunity, help chronic pain and illness and many more conditions.

Before signing up for a course it's important to find out what it's all about and whether it's for you. That's why free, one-off taster sessions are on offer?

During this one and a half hour session, UK listed teacher Carole Lacy will introduce you to what the MBSR programme is all about, what's involved and how it might help you.

You will also be led in some short meditation practices that you can start using straight away, do some mindful eating and have the chance to ask questions.
