Learn the basics of free-motion embroidery along with applique, to create your very own piece of Textile Art. You don’t need a special machine, just a free-motion foot, which you can borrow for the day (or purchase from us for £8).
You don’t have to make a hoop (pictured), you could make a small picture or cushion front if you wish, depending on time. This workshop is more about playing with techinques rather than making a finished product.

The cost of the course includes EVERYTHING you need for your Textile Art piece.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
We would prefer you to bring your own sewing machine but if that is not possible we do have some that you can hire for £5.
Just bring yourself and some design ideas - Pinterest is a good place to start.
If you would like to bring your own scraps of fabric or felt then please feel free.
