Start time and location: 09:45am outside The Penny Pot Cafe, Edale (S33 7ZA)
Distance: 12km
Duration: 3-4 hours
*This is an ideal scenario but the route will be amended based on the weather conditions and forecast.
Edale is accessible via train from Manchester Piccadilly and Sheffield. Parking is available at the station, or at the car park off Marys Lane (S33 7ZQ) for those wishing to drive. You will also find public toilets here.
Please dress appropriately in walking boots and layers. We recommend packing a waterproof regardless of the weather forecast. You will need to carry your own water and snacks or packed lunch. If the weather is good, we'll stop to eat along the way, otherwise there are pubs and cafes in Edale to enjoy afterwards.
You do not need walking experience to enjoy this route but if you have any concerns please get in touch!
