Do you live in Nottingham or Nottinghamshire? Are you a patient, service user, carer or citizen?

The NHS Five Year Forward View, local Sustainability Transformation Partnerships and Integrated Care Systems, highlight the importance of involving patients, service users, citizens and communities directly in decisions about health and care services.

This event aims to inform, inspire, motivate public involvement in the NHS and care services in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Key NHS organisations will be available to share information about services and how the public can get involved, and local Patient/Citizen Leaders will share their involvement experience and the impact they are making.

You may already be actively involved, or thinking about getting involved or this may be new to you. If you are interested in making a difference to your local health and care services you are welcome to come along and:

• Find out about local health and care services - the importance of getting involved and how to do it

• Be inspired and motivated - share and learn about the impact of involvement

There will be information stalls and delegates can choose from a selection of workshops. Please refer to the Workshop Overview here to select your workshop. These will be automatically allocated on a first come first served basis. If your preferred workshop is oversubscribed you can select another workshop in the relevant group.

Registration will be from 9:15am with the event commencing at 09:45am.

Lunch and refreshments are provided and travel reimbursement will be offered to non-staff in line with our expense policy. Forms will be available on the day (it takes 8 weeks for expenses to be reimbursed).
