Description

A one hour introduction to the Olympic sport of Air Rifle Shooting, at Sevenoaks Drill Hall.

The School is open to all young people age 10 to 18 and is equally suitable for girls and boys.

Shooting is very popular with those who have not taken to team sports (and most of those who have!) and is very accessible to those with a disability. It requires mental rather than physical strength, and teaches self-discipline and perseverance.

Air rifles, targets and pellets are all supplied and there are no additional costs.

The course is run by instructors certified by the National Smallbore Rifle Association, target shooting's governing body. All have current DBS (formerly CRB) checks and regularly coach young people.

Shooting is a fascinating sport that promotes self-confidence, self-discipline, team-work and friendship. Beginners will find this session an easy and gentle introduction to the sport.
