With technology becoming more and more integrated into both business and daily life, the demand for tech skills is more than ever before. Not only does working in tech offer career stability, it is also a rewarding career path that is creative, sociable, lucrative and ever-evolving.

But learning to code can be such a minefield! Which coding languages should you learn? How should you learn them? Where should you start? Ahhh!

At _nology, we want to make learning to code accessible for everyone, no matter the path you've taken to get into it. Which is why we are offering a free online introduction to coding with our experienced Software Coaches.

The session will offer an insight into the fundamentals of software development to give you a flavour of what working in a tech job is really like.

We'll start by going behind the scenes of a real website to see how it's constructed and start to understand some of the jargon that surrounds coding (it's not as scary as you might think).

Then, via an interactive code-along, you will build a simple (yet fun!) webpage using HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding languages.

Once you’ve built your webpage, we’ll tell you a bit more about the ever-growing career opportunities in technology and how you can take your first steps, realise your potential and launch a career in tech (in as little as 3 months!).

There will be plenty of opportunities to ask our talented team what they love about their work and what it takes to become a pro software developer.

This taster session is open to complete coding beginners!
