About this Event

Dementia research charity BRACE is excited to be hosting our seventh annual conference, and - for the first time ever – it’s online! Please note this event will take place at 11am GMT.

#Together4Dementia is being brought to you, wherever you are in the world - all you need is the internet, plus a computer, tablet or smartphone to join this hugely popular dementia conference.

We have top quality speakers, including talks on robotics, care, research and diagnosis and an interview with a bestselling dementia author, plus a discussion of the day’s themes and much more.

Speakers include:

Alison Murray, Head of Inspection – London, Care Quality Commission

Professor Praminda Caleb-Solly, Bristol Robotics Laboratories

Nula Suchet, author of The Longest Farewell: James, Dementia and Me

Professor Patrick Kehoe, University of Bristol

Dr Hilary Archer, The ReMember Group

Purple Angel, represented by Norman McNamara (in Torbay) and Kathy Broggy (in Knoxville, Tennessee)

Guest presenter – Ali Vowles, BBC

If that wasn’t enough, there will also be breakout sessions with a chance to meet others, and exhibitor stands for you to visit.

Can’t make the whole day? You can join in the conference at any point, for as long as you choose. We would love to have you there for the whole event or for as much time as you can spare.

Additional speakers and special features will be announced in the autumn.

We will add networking to the itinerary if we have enough requests through the confirmation emails.

You can sign up FREE TODAY and we will send you joining instructions and final details a few days before the 3rd Nov.

FAQ

Do I have to sit at my screen the whole time? No! You can come and go as you wish, taking comfort breaks or dealing with other commitments. The timings will be updated and published just before the conference date, enabling you to make sure you don’t miss the sessions you most want to hear. You can also visit exhibitors’ stands and join in breakout discussions by smaller groups when timetabled.

Will I be visible to other people attending? You will be neither visible not audible, so you can watch and listen as if sitting in front of a television. The exceptions will be breakout groups or exhibitors (if you choose to visit them), where you will be able to see and talk to others one to one or in a small group.
