Free online workshop: How to know if you want to change your career
Event Information
About this Event
How do you know if you really want to change career?
It’s reported that 50% of people want to change career, but a much smaller percentage actually do it.
I believe that many people are unclear on whether they really want to change career or not, and lack full commitment to the transition.
It seems easier to stick with the career you have, or if made redundant to quickly get a similar job to that you had.
Valid reasons for changing career could be misalignment with values, purpose, skills, passions and interests.
Valid reasons for staying within your career could be challenges related to dysfunctional work behaviours and relationships, limiting beliefs and low confidence. These can be resolved within your current career, they'd likely follow you to a new job or career anyway.
Without this clarity, you're unlikely to have the energy and commitment to make such a big shift as a career change. This can leave you feeling stuck and powerless.
In this workshop:
✅ You’ll have a chance to weigh up your career, positives vs negatives, and see how good a fit it is for you.
✅ You’ll also get clear on your values and create your life purpose – a north star for whether your career really is fit for your future fulfilment.
✅ You'll get a chance to brainstorm other career ideas, based on Ikigai principles: what you love, are good at, can get paid for and what the world needs.
You will leave this workshop feeling clear and inspired and with a sense of direction in how to solve your career challenges.
