One day a week is FREE for a year every Friday (booking is required on our website)

For beginners and all abilities.

A fun, challenging and effective outdoor free fitness session designed to deliver maximum total body results.

FUNKYFATBOY classes are for all abilities to work on their full body strength training, flexibility and cardiovascular workout done in a group setting. Unlike military boot camps, there is no yelling and no screaming. Our instructor encourages you to do your personal best regardless of your fitness level. Even beginners are able to complete the entire workout and are encouraged to pace themselves, adjust exercises as needed and to take breaks when they need to. Discuss any injuries or limitations with your instructor and he will make an effort to provide an alternative or altered version of activities that you may not be able to complete comfortably. The point of all of this? We want you to succeed! We want you to leave every workout glad you did it, feeling great and looking better!


The program is a mixture of cardio, flexibility and strength training using your body weight, resistance, partner exercises, and the natural terrain of the park. It is suitable for people of all fitness levels. We do things in intervals to keep your heart rate going and maximize the fat burning. It is a challenging and dynamic workout with unique exercises to shock your body. The instructor will motivate you and encourage you to do your best, but not past the point of discomfort. You can take a break if you need to, there is no yelling or screaming. All classes are outdoors. You sign up for per session after this event, see the upcoming schedule below on our website.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

+18 years old

Why do I have to come 10-15 minutes earlier to the class?

You will have to complete a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q).

What is a PAR-Q?

It is a short, simple form designed to identify major symptoms of cardiovascular disease, pulmonary disease, metabolic diseases, orthopaedic conditions, and other conditions which may be aggravated by exercise (Hough & Penn, 2017).

Please be advised that this is a health declaration form to be signed and dated that you have agreed to be fit and well to carry out the classes.

Can I fill out the PAR-Q form and then print it out to hand on the day?

Yes, that would be great to save time! Just make sure to email regarding the PAR-Q form.

What if I answer 'yes' to any of the questions?

Clients who answer 'yes' to one or more questions should seek advice from their doctor before fitness testing, or increasing activity levels, for example: FUNKYFATBOY classes (Hough et al, 2017).

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Car: Free car park

Underground station: Boston Manor Tube Station (7 minutes away)

Mainline station: Brentford Railway Station (9 minutes away)

What can I bring into the event?

Please wear your comfortable clothing to be able to move around.
