Join women's health yoga therapist Becki Sams for this free nourishing session of self-care, deep relaxation, and baby bonding.

WHAT IS PREGNANCY YOGA?
Pregnancy yoga is an effective way to reduce stress and anxiety, as well as induce soothing feelings of calm, ease, and relaxation.
In this workshop you’ll have the opportunity to find what feels good for you (and baby) to get the oxytocin flowing, relieve tiredness and exhaustion, and stay active whilst honouring your body's energy levels.
Practicing yoga during pregnancy can support you to:
- Feel balanced, grounded, and calm
- Provide time and space for nurture, rest, and relaxation
- Boost energy and vitality
- Keep you and your baby healthy
- Bond with the baby
- Relieve anxiety and stress
- Encourage nourishing, restful sleep
- Ease issues associated with pregnancy (such as swollen or painful joints)
- Build connections with other women on the same journey
You’ll discover simple but profound techniques of breath awareness, sonic massage, deeply restorative yoga poses, and yoga nidra (yogic sleep) to balance your stress levels, safely navigate pregnancy, and prepare for the baby’s arrival.
This session is open to all levels, including absolute beginners.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
In this session, you'll be guided through meditation, breathwork, and therapeutic yoga techniques live via Zoom.
There'll also be a 30 min Q&A, to give you the opportunity to ask questions and receive individual support.
You can expect:
- Breathwork to prepare you for labour and birth
- Gentle, relaxing yoga postures to ease discomfort
- Womb connection practice to invite deep self-love and baby bonding
- Blissful guided yoga nidra meditation to aid sleep
- Sharing and connecting with other mums-to-be
If you can't make the live session, a recording will be sent out to you - but you'll get *way* more benefit by joining live!
IS THIS SESSION SUITABLE FOR ME?
This workshop is perfect for any woman interested in exploring yoga for the first time, but is also open to those who have a regular practice.
It's suitable for women in the second and third trimester of pregnancy - not recommended for those less than 15 weeks pregnant, unless advised otherwise by a medical professional.
Becki's offerings are inclusive, and open to womxn of every colour/shape/size/age/ability/orientation/identification, with no experience necessary. You are welcome, celebrated, and honoured. All you need is an open mind, an open heart, and air to breathe.
Wear: anything you feel comfortable in, and a jumper/warm socks for savasana.
Bring: something to cover your eyes (such as an eye pillow, eye mask, or light scarf). You can also bring props to support your comfort - including bolsters, blankets, and cushions.
