FREE Primary Specialist Knowledge for Teaching Mathematics for Teachers

About this Event
This FREE 10 session programme is aimed at KS2 Primary Teachers (including NQTs/RQTs) wishing to improve and develop their knowledge of progression and pedagogy within the curriculum.
The aim of the programme is to develop subject knowledge, teaching sequences and deep understanding in line with a Mastery approach, including precise language, structures and representations for the following areas: Number Sense, Additive Reasoning, Multiplicative Reasoning and Fractions.
All sessions are online, 3.45pm - 5.15pm on Wednesdays:

- 10 March
- 21 April
- 28 April
- 12 May
- 26 May
- 9 June
- 16 June
Please ensure that you can attend all 10 session dates before signing up to this work group.
A maximum of 2 teachers from each participating school will be required to attend all sessions for this Work Group and complete in-school intersessional tasks.
Although this Work Group is online, it is offered to State-funded schools in the North-East Hants and Surrey Maths Hub Region.
