This film is a sequel to the 2021 film "A Writer's Odyssey." It tells the story of novelist Lu Kongwen, who, after reaching a low point in his life, attempts to destroy his work, "God Slayer." His character, Kongwen, embarks on a journey of resistance, leading to a dual crisis in both the real world and the alternate world of his novel. Ultimately, Lu Kongwen and the characters in his novel work together to resolve the crisis.
Not having seen the first part doesn't prevent you from watching the second.
