About this event

Mary Quicke whose family has been farming the land here in Newton St Cyres since 1540 will take you on a guided walk around our Estate. During the walk Mary will be covering many topics from the history of the farm and how we farm with nature to our dairy cows and woodland. There will also be a tasting of our multi-award winning handcrafted cheeses at the end of the walk.

The walk starts in the Quicke's Cheese Shop Car Park.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on leads.

Are dogs allowed to come?

Yes dogs on leads are welcome, please also bring poo bags.

What shoes should I wear?

We recommend sturdy footwear and if raining areas of the walk may be muddy.

Is the walk suitable for pushchairs?

We have tried our best however the walk isn't suitable for pushchairs, however babies and young children are most welcome to attend.

Will your Cheese Shop be open?

Yes, our Cheese Shop will be open.
