Description

What makes Macbeth such a fascinating play?

About the seminar

Macbeth is a perennial favourite, and this seminar looks at how and why the play has fascinated Theatre goers over the last 400 years. With reference to examples from the text, and using A.C. Bradley’s critical work as our structure, we will discuss how the play is dramatically structured, what major themes are explored, and how relevant the play is to today’s world.

Length - 2.5 hours
