A free skateboard coaching session as part of our 4-day 'Skateboarding in the City III' festival of skateboarding culture, happening around Nottingham city centre from Thurs 25th - Sun 28th September.
King Eddie's is an old favourite, and a great spot for learning to skate!
All are welcome aged 7+, whether you’re brand new to skateboarding, or experienced and wanting to get some new tricks under your belt with the help of our talented skate coaches.
You only need to reserve tickets if you need to borrow a skateboard and helmet. If you have your own kit, you can just turn up without booking. We have 25 helmets and complete skateboards which are free to use. All participants should arrive with appropriate footwear, such as trainers, gym shoes or plimsolls. Please do not wear sandals, crocs, flip-flops or other open-toed shoes, or shoes with raised heels or wedges.
All coaches are experienced, with DBS certificates and child safeguarding training. This event is insured through Skate Nottingham's community group membership of Skateboard GB, the National Governing Body for skateboarding.
We will register all participants on arrival and take parents'/carers' contact details.
