We’re auditioning talented performers aged 8-18 from the UK, Europe & beyond! Stagebox opens FREE auditions in LONDON, LEEDS, MANCHESTER, BIRMINGHAM & EDINBURGH.
Do you know a performer looking for the next step in musical theatre or acting with life-changing training and opportunities? We’re proud to have training centres nationwide and we are back to provide major opportunities for the stars of today and tomorrow.
Stagebox members and clients have landed major roles in Oscar nominated and Emmy nominated screen roles for major networks including Netflix, Apple TV +, Disney +, major feature film releases and West End and International musicals.
We are looking for talented actors, singers and dancers to audition for our Main Company programmes – now auditioning for our ACTING MEMBERSHIP or MUSICAL THEATRE MEMBERSHIP.
Just pick which essential programme you’d like to audition for and come and meet the team in a friendly and intensive industry workshop.
Please be prepared to stay throughout the day in case your child is required to attend afternoon recalls.
How to get to The Midlands Arts Centre:
By Car & Parking Information:
Birmingham is easily accessible by the M5, M6, M40 and M42 motorways. Please follow the signs for MAC throughout the city - the centre is located opposite Edgbaston Cricket Ground.
From Birmingham City Centre, take the A441 to Redditch. Approximately 2 miles from the centre of Birmingham, turn left into Edgbaston Road. You will see the entrance for MAC on the right approximately 150 metres ahead after the traffic lights.
Parking is available at: The Queen's Ride car park next to MAC, Pershore Road car park next to the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park (BWCP), and Russell Road car park.
By Bus:
1: From Five Ways, Edgbaston, Moseley and Acocks Green. The no 1 stops right outside MAC on Edgbaston Road.
35: From City Centre, Balsall Heath, Moseley and Kings Heath. The no 35 stops just around the corner from MAC on Willows Road.
45/47: From City Centre (Carrs Lane), Selly Park, Stirchley, Cotteridge and Kings Norton. The buses stop on Pershore Road, five minutes walk from MAC.
x61/63: From City Centre (Carrs Lane and Smallbrook Queensway), Rubery, Rednal, Gannow, Northfield and Selly Oak. All three buses stop ten minutes walk from MAC on the Bristol Road, near the Priory Road/Bristol Road traffic lights.
By Train:
Birmingham New Street Station and Grand Central are a 10 minute taxi journey from The Midlands Arts Centre. Inter City services run from all major towns and cities, including hourly services from London, into Birmingham New Street.
By Air:
Birmingham International Airport (BHX) is 30 minutes away by car or taxi.
