About this event

Join us at Blackheath Creatives Popup shop for a fun afternoon exploring embroidery techniques for mending and decorating textile articles to give them a new lease of life.

No experience is needed, just bring along something you would like to have a go at mending decoratively, with whatever sewing threads and kit you have to hand. We will have a selection of threads annd fabrics that you can share too. Or just come and see what is possible with the magic of needle and thread.

Beginners and visitors are always welcome!

We are a small and friendly group of embroidery and textile enthusiasts who are keen to share our skills and introduce the pleasures of working with thread and textiles to newcomers and the wider community.
