Suicide is a problem for society as a whole. To increase awareness - and to help remove the stigma which can be a barrier for those in need of help - this FREE half-day training seminar should be of interest to anyone who wishes to:
- examine their own attitudes
- discover likely suicide risk factors and warning signs
- find out how you might help someone at risk of suicide
Funded by Leicester City Council, the training is free to attend and open to anyone who lives or works in Belgrave and adjacent areas of Leicester. This includes members of the public as well as those whose work is likely to bring them into contact with vulnerable people or those at greater risk. Places are limited so advance booking is essential. Please note, you are not eligible to attend if you don't live or work (or provide services to those that live or work) in Leicester city.
Refreshments are provided, including a free buffet lunch at 12:45pm.
Please note: Allocation of a place on the training is provisional, pending formal confirmation from the organiser.
