About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

A buzzing craft session like no other! Join Animate Arts CIC as they transform our library space into a magical paper garden—complete with a cardboard beehive for the Story Garden Summer Reading Challenge

But it needs your busy-bee help - there aren’t enough flowers, and the bees can’t make honey without your creativity! Drop in to make colourful flowers and honeycomb using recycled paper and materials. Add your creation to the growing installation, or take it home as a sweet souvenir.

With music, lovely scents, and hands-on making led by real artists, this is a multi-sensory experience for all ages. Let’s help the garden grow, one paper petal at a time!

  • Free workshop
  • All materials provided
  • Suitable for all ages

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Booking essential, drop in on the day from 3 to 4pm.

You can let us know you're coming along by registering via Eventbrite or by contacting your local library. For more information pop in to see us, call 03000 41 31 31 or email dartfordlibrary@kent.gov.uk
