About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

please ignore the event date (we receive new group members all the time) and read on....this group is for those who are practicing as qualified or accredited Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Coaches or Psychologists or who are in training.

this online support group first met in July of 2021; it was created to offer a protected space for psychological therapists who held a different Covid-19 narrative from the global mono-narrative of the mainstream media( MSM) to explore their thoughts and express their feelings.

since then, the focus of our group has expanded to include a wide range of other global and local issues and concerns. This infographic which is not exhaustive gives you an idea of the ground we have been exploring.

and here are the qualities and support experiences you can expect from our group.

we welcome new members. We receive new members through a brief, informal process; you will meet with two existing members who have volunteered for the role for up to 30 minutes. The focus will be

  • introductions
  • members describing the support group and sharing some of their experiences of it
  • you will mutually explore whether there is enough common ground for you to fit comfortably into the group

once accepted into our group you will be welcome to drop in on our weekly support group on Fridays between 6.00 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. GMT and attend our once a month free extra support workshops (one hour and a half on a Saturday 10.00 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. GMT).

we hope you will register for a free ticket; you will then be contacted by a volunteer to arrange an online introductory meeting.

We look forward to meeting you.
