Regular tai chi practice relaxes the body, improves balance and coordination, and leads to better respiration and circulation.

About this Event

In this ongoing class you will be introduced to various stretching and warm-up routines, including Chi Kung sets which primarily energizes the body and maintain health.

The better known aspect of the art of tai chi chuan is the hand form, a set of moves preformed in a slow, flowing and relaxed manner. You will learn a complete short hand form.

As well as a fitness regime, Tai Chi Chuan is a martial art. If there is a demand to learn this aspect we can explore push hands (basic) and the application of the hand form to self-defence.
