What is the Dance & Yoga Workshop?

The Dance & Yoga Workshop is a unique fusion experience that combines the energetic rhythms of African and Caribbean dance with the serene practices of yoga. It's designed for adults of all skill levels who are looking to explore the joy of movement and find balance in both body & mind.

Who can attend this workshop?

The workshop is open to adults of all skill levels, from beginners to intermediate. Whether you have experience in dance or yoga, or you're just starting out, you're welcome to join!

What should I wear to the workshop?

Please wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for easy movement. Dance or yoga attire is ideal. Don't forget to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated!

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat?

Yes, please bring your own yoga mat for the yoga session. If you don't have one, we will have a few mats available for use on a first-come, first-served basis.

How much does the workshop cost?

This taster is free to attend but voluntary donations are welcomed to help us continue to grow. However, if you are unable to donate please don't let that put you off attending, the purpose of the class is to bring people together for a fun experience.

Can I come alone, or should I bring friends?

You are welcome to come alone or bring friends. The workshop is designed to create a vibrant sense of community, so you'll have the opportunity to connect with others and make new friends.

How do I register for the workshop?

You can register for the workshop through our Eventbrite page. Simply follow the registration link, select your ticket type, and complete the payment process. Ensure you have completed your Par-Q (Physical Activity Questionnaire )

What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

If you are unable to attend please let us know as soon as you can so we can release your spot for others who may wish to join. Just follow the cancellation process on the event page.

Will there be refreshments provided?

Yes, there will be refreshments available during the break. (Small fee may apply) Feel free to bring your own snacks if you have specific dietary preferences.
