Join Toussaint To Move's Artistic Director, Akeim Toussaint Buck in these 2 sessions exploring movement, dance and reggae music!

These 2x workshops are an invitation for people to gather and experience the creative world of 'Free' - Toussaint To Move's new immersive, dance-theatre performance that combines the worlds of Reggae Dub Culture & Contemporary Dance to immerse audiences in the unwavering pursuit of freedom. Celebrating Reggae's global injection that has ignited revolutions all over the world since the 1960s.

Gather, skank and lively up yourself, till we are all Free.

To join the workshop you only have to be 18+, sign-up and wear some comfortable clothes to move in!

About the Community Cast for 'Free'

These workshops are also an invitation for you to join the community cast for the 'Free' performance at ARC Stockton Arts Centre on the 5th September 2025.

If you enjoy the taster workshop and would like to join the community cast you must be available for:

  • Community Cast Co-Creation session 1 at ARC Stockton Arts Centre: 3rd September, 18:00 - 19:30
  • Community Cast Co-Creation session 2 at ARC Stockton Arts Centre: 4th September, 18:00 - 19:30
  • General Rehearsal: 5th September 15:00 - 17:00
  • 'Free' Performance at ARC Stockton: 5th September, 18:00 - 20:00

*Community Cast members will receive a £12.60/hour stipend to support their participation in the work.
