🧒 Teaching Children First Aid – Newcastle Veterans Hub Special Session

All Wheel Drive Response North East (AWDRNE) and Train4Med are excited to partner and offer a free first aid session for children during our Veterans Hub breakfast.

This fun and practical session is designed for children aged 6–11 to learn basic first aid skills in a safe, supportive environment. Children will take part in hands-on activities, including how to:

✔️ Call 999✔️ Put someone in the recovery position✔️ Manage small injuries like cuts and bumps✔️ Learn simple CPR and how AEDs work

All materials are provided, including teddies, pretend phones, bandages, and certificates. Every child will receive a First Aid Hero award and take home a simple guide.

Bring your children along — everyone is welcome!No matter the age, everyone can learn to save a life.

ℹ️ Things to Know:

• Suitable for children aged 6 to 11Parents/carers must stay for the full session• No previous first aid experience needed• Please let us know about any allergies or additional needs (e.g. plasters, latex)
