The Ultimate Hands-On Training Experience

Real care doesn’t happen in theory — it happens in the moment. That’s why we’ve created something completely different.

The Free the Jeenie Escape Room is a dynamic, scenario-based training experience that blends clinical reasoning, practical skills, and high-pressure decision-making into one unforgettable session.

Set inside our fully equipped Centre for Excellence, you’ll move through a series of immersive, hands-on care challenges designed to test your teamwork, sharpen your thinking, and build confidence in the skills that matter most.

Learn by Doing Not Watching

This is not a sit-and-listen session. It’s an opportunity to get truly involved — to assess, plan, lift, move, turn, and respond to what’s happening around you.

You’ll work as a team through realistic environments that replicate the complexity of real care — including confined spaces, bedroom and bathroom setups, tight stairwells, ward environments, and bariatric care zones.

What You’ll Cover

  • Risk assessment → Make quick, confident decisions with real-world consequences at stake.
  • Evacuation planning → Build safe, practical plans for urgent moves in confined and pressured settings.
  • In-bed care and repositioning → Learn safe, respectful repositioning strategies using effective tools and team communication.
  • Flat lifting and slide sheet handling→ Master friction-reducing techniques to move patients without stress or strain.
  • Seating assessments and chair setup→ Set up chairs to fit the person, not just the equipment.
  • Sling selection and hoisting→ Choose, fit, and apply slings correctly with full safety and dignity.
  • Bariatric patient care in realistic settings→ Work with real-world weight, space, and complexity — not theoretical numbers.
  • Mobility scoring and safe discharge planning→ Use scoring tools to track progress and plan for safe patient movement and discharge.

Who Is the Challenge For?

  • Care teams looking for a fresh team-building CPD opportunity
  • Hospitals, social care providers, and training leads seeking hands-on skill reinforcement
  • Individual carers, nurses, manual handling leads, and OTs wanting to test and grow their confidence in a practical setting

Finish with Confidence & Lunch

After completing the challenge, your team will enjoy a free lunch and exclusive open access to the Jeenie Centre for the rest of the day.

Use the time to:

  • Explore our wide range of equipment
  • Practice newly learned techniques
  • Ask questions
  • Build confidence
  • And have space to think freely, without pressure

Join other professionals for a shared Free the Jeenie experience — designed for individuals who don’t want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind training session.

Take part in the Escape Room Challenge, connect with like-minded carers and clinicians, and experience real-world patient handling scenarios in a fully simulated setting.

Is the course suitable for all ages and abilities?

Yes. The experience is designed for a wide range of roles and abilities. We’ll adapt where needed — just let us know in advance.
