Thank you for booking one of our workshops, we're really excited to play together.

Come and play on a six-week adventure with BPT. Find your voice. Join us for FREE weekly theatre workshops in your neighbourhood.

    About this event

Do you want to be part of a fun, supportive group, writing and creating your own theatre around a theme of your choice? We are running workshops every week for six weeks, in five locations across the city, which will culminate in all the groups coming together to share performances and have a festive social at Brighthelm Community Centre on Wednesday 15 December.

We are building a People's Theatre for the city and we'd love you to be a part of it.

Our voices hold more power than we are aware. And joined together with other voices, our collective voice can be unstoppable. We are all born with a right to speak, a right to laugh, a right to cry, a right to rant, a right to rage. What do you want to say? How might you say it through theatre?

There is absolutely no experience required to join the group, as we will play games, do theatre exercises and develop a performance from scratch.

Whether it’s voicing off, singing at the top of your voice, doing silly voices, giving voice to something unheard or simply making a voice-note, we would love to hear your voice in the room.

So please join us! A welcoming creative community of like-minded people who live on your doorstep is a click away. Be brave. We promise laughter 100% guaranteed * in every session. Come and play.

    *or your money back :)
