Event description

Description

Our monthly art club aims to introduces young people to a contemporary art gallery giving them the opportunity to really explore the exhibitions and create a piece of art work that responds to the show. Our aim is to make art accesible to all.
This month we will be looking at the work of a former Suffolk College student, now one the most influential and prolific sports film directors in the world- Daryl Goodrich. He was credited with being in the top ten of the most influential people in securing the 2012 Olympic games for London, having directed the bid film ‘ Sport at Heart ’ and ‘ Inspiration’. Daryl was commissioned by the Olympic Broadcasting Service (OBS) to be creative director.

In this art club we will be thinking about how we could sell our town as the next home of the Olympics, looking to Daryl's work for inspiration. We'll be stretching our creativity and imagination to put Ipswich in the running among all other major cities across the world!

Family art club is a place to develop and extend creativity.

Hope you can join us!
