Join us for a Free VCSE Workshop on Developing Trauma-Informed Understanding! Derbyshire Mind have partnered with Relate and Derbyshire County Council to deliver free workshops on trauma-informed approaches.
Whether you are a volunteer, employee, or organisation leader, this workshop aims to equip you with knowledge and tools to better understand and respond to trauma. Don't miss out on this opportunity to enhance your skills and make a positive impact in your community.
Aims of the Workshop:
- Enhance your knowledge and skills of what is means to be trauma-informed.
- Provide examples of what trauma-informed approaches look like.
- Work with you to understand how you might be able to support your organisation and community through being trauma-informed.

Please note: We would like to share this workshop across the VCSE sector in Derbyshire, so places are currently limited to a maximum of 4 per organisation. If you have more than this, you will be added to a waiting list and contacted once more places becomes available.
Frequently asked questions
There is a large, free on-site car park at the Dunston Innovation Centre. There are disabled parking spots to the front right of the car park as you enter.
There is wheelchair access through the main reception of the building and a lift to the conference room being used for the workshop.
There is a bus from Chesterfield City Centre to Wittington Moor that takes you near the Dunston Innovation Centre (15min bus, 10min walk).
Tea and coffee will be served midway through the workshop during the comfort break. If you want to buy snacks, there is a small tuck shop on site.

There is a maximum of 15 attendees for one workshop.
