FREE Video CV workshop (16 to 25yr olds)
Tue 11 April 2017, 11:00 – 15:00 BST
What is a video CV?
A Video CV lets you stand out from the crowd! It is an engaging way for job seekers to showcase their abilities beyond the traditional paper CV. The video CV allows future employers to see and hear applicants, and get a feel for how applicants present themselves. The workshop uses smartphones so you can continue to make video content, no expensive equipment necessary.
Come and join in on a FREE one-day Video CV session on digital résumé making for young people (under 25). The aim is to create a video CV to show employers all about what makes you stand out.
Media Trust is working in partnership with the Jack Petchey Foundation, YouTube and the London Evening Standard to provide these skills workshops.
Job seekers will improve their communication and media skills, whilst learning how to express themselves in a fun and engaging way.
You also will be entered into the Vlogstar Challenge competition. The winner will receive camera equipment and mentoring from YouTube’s experts.
