About this event

It's not new and it ain't a river ! The New River is an artificial waterway in England, opened in 1613 to supply London with fresh drinking water taken from Chadwell and Amwell Springs near Ware in Hertfordshire, and later the River Lea and other sources.

Join me as we walk along the New River Path from Broxbourne in Hertfordshire to Enfield. We'll pause for a short food and drinks break and I'll be having a post-walk beer or two somewhere local and all who fancy it are welcome to join me.
