FREE We're Going on a Bug Hunt! with Tinder Sticks & LBBD Ranger Service

Join Tinder Sticks and the Ranger Service for a morning of wild adventures in nature. Hunt for bugs, get creative and discover all about the plants and animals that call Beam Parklands home.

An adult must accompany a participant and stay for the duration of the event.

We will be outdoors for the whole event, please dress for the weather and wear strong stout footwear.

Venue: Beam Parklands Country Park

NB: car parking is available in Wellington Drive opposite Leys Community Hub

Date: Monday 4th August 2025

Time: starts 10.00am – ends 12.00pm

Age group: Aimed at 4 years and above, however younger children can attend

Cost: Free

Health & Safety: Please be aware that information of any medical conditions should be given before participating in the event.

Photos may be taken - You can opt out if you wish.

Please note that booking in advance is not necessary and you can just turn up at the event (shack.both.affair is the what3words specific event site location). The nearest entrance to the event location is Clemence Road, Dagenham RM10 9YN.

Please note that you can drop into the event at any time from 10am and to give yourself time to enjoy the event as it finishes at 12pm.
