Wednesday 19th September 6-8pm
Artist Tulani Hlalo invites you to super causal Q&A session in response to Blonde Ambition with the added bonus of a group wig sculpting session. Wig sculpting i here you say? Isn’t that just wig styling? Well here’s the difference, there’s no skill needed AT ALL, no judgment here, just loads blonde synthetic hair (provided free of charge!) Feel free to bring any extra must have accessories for your hair piece, but mots importantly bring your desire to create the worlds most beautiful wig✨
All ages and abilities welcome. All Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
Booking is essential.

Tulani Hlalo (b.1994) in Newcastle upon Tyne, currently situated Manchester. She studied BA fine art at Manchester School of Art, graduating in 2017. Tulani uses humorous performative videos and sculptural works as a method of reconnecting with the Zimbabwean heritage she once neglected in her childhood. Although the subjects she touches upon in her work are personal she sees such themes as universal in the context of growing up and existing as mixed race in the uk.
