Event description

Description

Are you spending hours keeping up with your social media updates? Not sure if you are missing people talking about you? Want to send updates for busy events but can't do it while you are busy on the shop floor. Social media is only really effective for business if you are consistent in maintaining your activity and engaging with your target audience. But if you don't take control it can take control and steal hours of your time.

We can show you how to take control and focus on customer engagement. In this session we will introduce you to a free tool that will organise your social media so you can:

- see one easy list of where you are mentioned

- plan updates ahead of time, so you don't have to stop what you are doing to send one

- set up messages to automatically thank people when they follow, like or mention you

In just one hour you can learn all you need to know to get started and leave with a system set up to manage your social media activity on; Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube.

This is practical session designed for complete beginners. You will bring your own laptop to work from, so you can set your account up as you learn and you will feel more comfortable working on it when you go home.

We will lead you through the process, click by click. By the end of the session you will have opened your account, set up the social media streams you want, be monitoring your business mentions, set up automatic responses and set your first scheduled updates.

So sign up today. It is FREE for Bridgwater Independent Retailers (see details on website for criteria)
