Join us for a fun and inspiring morning of cartoon-making with local artist JK Kid – the Cartoon Museum’s neurodivergent artist-in-residence!
In this hands-on workshop, children aged 7–12 will learn how to create their own cartoon characters, build stories, and bring their ideas to life through comics. JK will guide participants and talk about his amazing career.
Why comics?Making comics is not just fun, it’s a brilliant way for young people to express themselves, boost their confidence, and support literacy and mental wellbeing. Whether your child loves drawing or has stories to tell, this workshop is a great way to explore creativity and emotions through art.
No experience needed – just bring your imagination!All art materials are provided, and children will leave with their very own cartoon creations.
Any children under 8 need to be accompanied by an adult.
